Learning From My Wagering Blunders
by Shaniya on Dec.28, 2009, under Casino
First to clarify why I write this essay. I have been gambling on the web or at a brick and mortar casinos for a great many years. I have discovered, the fixation can grab a hold of you and you won’t even notice it up until you are penniless. Especially if you are on a winning run. I’ve gone through many tens of thousands of dollars in a very tiny period of time and to this day on occasion, I will go too far. It appears you’re just having a blast until you start to pay attention to your defeats and the anguish sets in, and then you keep telling yourself "I can earn it back" constantly. It does not works. Then you feel sick in your belly and the harder you try the quicker you lose.
When you see that you’re up, remain on the UP! When you start to be beaten, don’t tell yourself, "well just maybe just one more" and over and over again, trust me, this plan hardly ever works. Say you’re betting on slots, have an amount put aside prior to beginning your play. DO NOT go over that limit, no matter how appealing. If you happen to succeed, put that in a different cup. Do not use your profits no matter what. Once you’ve gambled through your primary set limit, call it a day. Head out, regardless if it’s on the net or at a brick and mortar betting house, don’t stay around. Always remember, there is going to be another day, another time.
Remember, gambling is supposed to be FUN not exhausting, nauseating work! If you aren’t having fun yourself, you do not belong there. If youcannot manage the loss, don’t even begin.
